The beneficiaries are in sectors of mining, tourism, manufacturing, construction, etc for working capital purposes and the Facility is continuously being reviewed based on utilization. Under this Facility, a ZWL$2.5 billion has since been transformed into a Revolving Fund which industry will continue accessing.

Environment, Climate, Tourism and Hospitality Industry Minister Mangaliso Ndlovu stated that The National Tourism Recovery and Growth Strategy "seeks to provide increased funding to affected tourism businesses, including small businesses within the tourism value chain, through a tourism revolving fund ($100 million) which Government has established."

Loan uptake from the RTGS$15 million Tourism Revolving Fund has remained largely subdued with players in the hospitality sector arguing that they prefer loans to be availed in US dollars as they need to purchase capital goods outside the country.
